Social Timetable
Delegates should plan to arrive on Tuesday 10th. Registration shall be open from 5pm-7pm. During registration delegates will be treated to a BBQ at the front of the conference venue. Talks will begin at 9:00am the following morning.
For those who arrive after the 10th, registration shall remain open on the 11th August.
Wednesday
On Wednesday evening delegates will be treated to a river cruise and traditional pub night with Irish music. Buses will leave the conference venue directly at 5pm and will drop off at hotels again at 11:30. Due to the demanding social schedule here will not be an opportunity to go back to your hotel before embarking on the boat tour.
Thursday
The Conference Dinner will be held at Stormont on Thursday evening. Buses will leave from the conference venue at 6:30 and return at 11:00pm. Casual dress is advised.
Friday
Two optional trips on the Friday afternoon are available i.e. a fishing trip and a night at the dogs. As there is an upper limit on numbers for these trips, individuals should contact the conference organisers if they wish to participate. A charge of £15 pounds will be made per trip.
Buses will leave the conference venue at 1:00pm for the fishing trip returning at 6:30pm. Those attendees 'going to the dogs' will remain on the buses and go directly to Drumbo Park, Greyhound Stadium. Buses will return to the conference venue at 11:30pm.
Saturday
The Conference Trip will take place on the Saturday to the Bushmills Whiskey Distillery and the world famous Giant's Causeway. A full guided tour of the causeway will be provided. Attendees will be asked to sign up for this when registering. Buses will leave from the conference venue at 8:30am and return at approximately 5:30pm. Attire will be dependent on the undependable N.Irish weather!
